About Us

Macarthur Netball Sports Club is one of 13 clubs under the Camden & District Netball Association. We are dedicated to promoting netball for players of all ages and skill levels. Our passionate coaches and supportive community strive to create a positive and inclusive environment where everyone can enjoy the game and improve their skills.

Our Services

Tania Laws
President

Tania serves as the President of our club and plays a key role in leading and supporting the club’s overall direction and growth. She is dedicated to ensuring the club remains a positive, inclusive, and well-organised environment for all players, coaches, umpires, and families.

Tania enjoys watching her two daughters participate in the club as both players and umpires, sharing in their passion for netball. Her daughters are also actively involved in coaching, each leading their own teams and contributing to the development of younger players within the club.

Tania’s strong commitment, leadership, and connection to the club community help foster a supportive and family-focused environment, and her ongoing contribution is greatly valued by everyone involved.

Blake Thomas
Vice President & Equipment Officer 

Blake joined the committee in 2025 and has quickly become an important part of the club’s leadership team. He currently serves in the dual roles of Vice President and Equipment Officer, supporting both the strategic direction and the day-to-day operations of the club.

As Equipment Officer, Blake is responsible for managing and maintaining all club equipment, ensuring everything is safe, organised, and ready for training and game days. In his role as Vice President, he works closely with the committee to support decision-making, planning, and the continued growth of the club.

Blake’s commitment, reliability, and willingness to assist wherever needed make him a valuable contributor both behind the scenes and within the broader club community.

Kerry Searle
Secretary

Kerry plays a key role in our club as Secretary, providing essential support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of operations. She is responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks, including managing correspondence, maintaining records, and supporting communication across the club.

In addition to her administrative duties, Kerry plays an important part in organising club fundraisers and helping coordinate events that support the club’s growth and community engagement. She also attends meetings and contributes valuable input to decision-making processes, ensuring the club continues to move forward in a positive direction.

Kerry’s dedication, organisation, and ongoing commitment behind the scenes are greatly appreciated by the committee, players, and families, and she is a vital part of the club’s continued success.

Melissa Perry
Treasurer &
Registrar

Melissa is the founder of the club and has played a pivotal role in building and shaping it into the strong and supportive community it is today. As a long-standing and dedicated committee member, she has contributed countless hours behind the scenes to ensure the club continues to grow and thrive.

On the court and sidelines, Melissa has coached numerous teams, sharing her knowledge, experience, and passion for netball with players across all age groups. Her leadership and commitment to player development have made a lasting impact on many within the club.

Melissa is also a qualified National C umpire, bringing a high level of expertise and understanding of the game to her officiating role. Her continued involvement across multiple areas of the club reflects her deep commitment to netball and the ongoing success of the club community.

Tammie Thomas
Ass. Registrar, Umpires Convenor &
Media Officer

Sinc

Since joining the club in 2022, Tammie has taken on a variety of roles including player, umpire, coach, committee member, and Umpires Convenor. She also leads much of the club’s media and photography work, helping showcase our teams, events, and community.

Tammie has been umpiring at a high level since 2016 and achieved her National C Badge in 2017, demonstrating her strong knowledge of the game and commitment to officiating.

Her dedication both on and off the court has become an important part of the club’s ongoing success and continues to make a valuable contribution to the growth and profile of the club.

Karley Geaney
Uniform Officer

Karley has been a valued member of our club for numerous years and is also a committed player in our SD2 team. Alongside her time on the court, she plays an important role as our Uniform Coordinator.

With her strong commitment to the club and attention to detail, Karley ensures all players are well-presented and ready for game day throughout the season. She manages uniform orders, fittings, and distribution, helping to keep everything organised and running smoothly for players and families.

Karley’s dedication behind the scenes helps maintain the club’s professional appearance and strong sense of identity. Her ongoing contribution, both as a player and in her coordinator role, is greatly appreciated by players, families, and the wider club community.
